Our Expertise
The founding team has over 15 years of experience in the education sector, particularly in nursing education in Latin America and Europe.
As part of an international education group with over 15,000 full-time students, Carenapi is strategically optimally positioned to comprehensively cover the entire process – from training to successful integration.
Our Vision, Mission, and Values
At Carenapi, we are convinced that cultural diversity is an enrichment for every company. Driven by this belief, our mission is to build a bridge for international nursing professionals into the German-speaking labor market.
Our goal is to make the entire process holistic, fair, and transparent for all parties involved – our candidates, our partner clinics, and healthcare institutions – and thus sustainably improve life in nursing.
Our Ethics and Values Code
The great responsibility we bear towards the healthcare professionals entrusted to us and our partners is the basis of our daily work. Therefore, we are committed to the highest ethical standards for the fair and sustainable recruitment of nursing professionals.
Commitment to Fair and Ethical Recruitment
We are committed to fair and ethically justifiable recruitment and placement practices. Our work is based on the following guiding principles, which ensure a fair and transparent process for all parties involved:
Written form for verifiability:
All contracts, agreements, and relevant information are recorded in writing in a way that is understandable and transparent for all parties involved.
Free of charge for the nursing professional:
We adhere strictly to the "employer-pays principle." Nursing professionals do not incur any direct or indirect costs throughout the entire placement process, with the exception of the repayment of educational loans granted by the home university.
Limitation of economic risk:
The entrepreneurial risk is not passed on to the nursing professionals. Repayment clauses are only permissible in very narrowly defined and transparently presented exceptional cases.
Transparency about structures, services, and costs:
We disclose the process of the placement procedure as well as all services from the start.
Sustainability and participation:
We promote sustainable recruitment through the early clarification of mutual expectations and support employers in developing concepts for corporate integration management.
Overall responsibility:
Compliance with international standards
Our actions are guided by internationally recognized guidelines and human rights standards. Currently, we are actively recruiting in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
WHO Code of Conduct:
We consistently follow the global WHO Code of Conduct for the international recruitment of health personnel. In particular, we do not actively recruit from countries listed on the current WHO "Health workforce support and safeguards list."
ILO Core Labor Standards:
We are committed to complying with the core labor standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO) as well as its general principles for fair recruitment.
UN Guiding Principles:
The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights as well as other international human rights agreements of the UN are an integral part of our corporate principles.
Transparency and fairness throughout the entire process
No placement fees:
For the care professional, the entire placement process is free of charge. Costs for the placement as well as for directly related services, such as the required language qualification, are borne by the employer.
Fair contract terms:
We do not mediate employment contracts that contain impermissible binding or repayment clauses regarding the placement costs. All contractual terms are communicated appropriately to the recipient and in a timely manner to enable a fully informed decision.
Careful partner selection:
We work exclusively with cooperation partners in Germany and abroad who also commit to adhering to these high ethical standards.
Support
and Integration
Our commitment does not end with the signing of the employment contract. We see ourselves as a long-term partner and support our candidates throughout the entire process – from language training to the recognition procedure to successful operational and social integration in the German-speaking region. We are always available for questions and create a community characterized by respect and mutual understanding.
